When
a person is looking for a new laptop, they may feel overwhelmed by all of the computers on sale out there. It could take a very long time to
sort through the ones that will provide the user with what they need. One of
the first things to decide is whether or not they want a laptop or a mini
laptop.
The mini laptop holds several advantages over
the more common full sized laptop. One of the first things that are great about
the mini laptops is their portability. With the majority of these laptops
weighing only a pound or two, they are the ideal weight and size for travel.
The can also perform the majority of the same tasks as a full size laptop.
The reason that the mini laptop is so portable
is because it does not have a few things that are commonly found on regular
laptops. The first thing to be kicked out was the disc drive. The optical drive
may be an important component for some people, while others may not prefer to
have the extra weight. Another reason why the mini laptop is much smaller than
a common laptop is obviously the screen size. These laptops generally have a
screen size of about 11inches. While the processing speed of these laptops in
not fast enough to run graphically demanding games, they can still provide
excellent quality and most multitasking needs.
There are many companies that are making mini
laptops and we see many if these computers on sale. Dell has made the Dell
Inspiron Mini 9 that lives up to the Dell name.. Asus
has launched quite a few that are one of the best mini computers on sale. This
includes the Asus Eee PC 1000, Asus Eee PC 701, Asus Eee PC S101, Asus Eee PC
901 and the Asus Eee PC 1002HA. Samsung too has made a name with the Samsung
NC10. Other that are worth mentioning are the Toshiba NB100, MSI Wind, LG X110,
Acer Aspire One and the king of the hill HP Compaq Mini Series.
With all of these mini computers on sale, it is hard to make a decision, though, many of
them, you cannot go wrong with.
