HP ProBook: Best Computing Solution for Business Users

While there are several computing solutions for businesspersons and executives in the world of technology, HP ProBook is one of the best options available among a wide range of choices. Notebook is recognized for its convenience and mobility.

Hewlett Packard (HP) has unveiled at least 10 models of HP ProBook, which are different in terms of specifications including operating system, processor speed, display, memory, internal drive, graphics, audio, wireless connectivity, and energy efficiency. It is available in 14” to 15.6” display size. Interestingly, one thing is common in all the versions and that is memory. All 10 are equipped with 4 Gigabytes 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM.

According to the IDC, total 353 million units of personal computers were shipped during 2011 up 1.8 per cent year over year. Of that, 144 million were of desktops and 209 million of portable devices including notebooks, etc.

Use of PCs is increasing globally. Major demand is emanating from emerging economies. Numbers of shipments are expected to grow five per cent globally in 2011. In the coming year too through 2016, shipments of desktops and portables will grow 9.5 per cent in 2013, 9.6 per cent in 2014, 8.5 per cent in 2015, and 7.2 per cent in 2016, showed the table compiled by Digitimes.

Popularity of tablets is giving a tough time to other PC segments. Sale of tablets is growing day by day. Total numbers of tablets shipped last year were recorded at 69 million and more than 50 per cent growth is projected for this year.

Since technology makers are disclosing plans of making tablet media for business users, competition for business notebooks such as HP ProBook and desktops is about to get stiffened.
