Winter has reached its full bloom and in some places snowfall is a commonplace. Geographical locations in some part of U.S. are recognized as the springboards of winter sports popular among which is snowboarding.
Not having a much older history, the sport has turned out a popular one in almost all snow-receiving mountains around the blue planet, moving the wheels of many industries from making of snow pants to travel and tourism.
Impressed upon by drop-dead popularity graph of snowboarding/skiing, this scribe has planned to put in this column write-ups that will broadly be covering the varied aspects of this adventure sport.
It is perhaps incontrovertible that snowboarding began and got actual acclamation during 1970s. However, one may ask what did the adventure enthusiasts do to play on the sheet of cottony powder before that? History of snowboarding is enthrallingly informative for the sport’s fans.
